Growing up in a small rural town in Iowa, I learned at a young age what service meant to my family and our community. Unfortunately, early in my business career I was only focused on what I would gain from my business success, and not focusing on the lessons I was learning along the way. They say “if you take chances and make mistakes, that’s how you grow.” Over the course of my career, there have been multiple mistakes… not to mention countless life lessons, but that’s how I’ve grown. One thing holds true as I continue to develop, and it’s that building positive relationships and putting others first will always achieve results. Whether it is organizing a coalition among teams to build a business or treating each party individually and respectfully in a sales transaction to accomplish desired results, I continually work to refine my skill set to produce positive outcomes for every person involved.

Former Division 1 collegiate track and field athlete at the University of Northern Iowa (2000-2005)
